Thermal Compound

I just bought Antec Silver 5 thermal compound and was wonder if it was any good. I bought it thinking it was AS5 🙁
Has anyone used this or have and reviews for it? Thanks

these guys got a -5C difference over the stock amd stuff, dunno how it performs in comparison to AS5

Can i just use the thermal pad now and wait for the AS5 in the mail or is it hard to remove after instalation.

My venice comes with compound on it allready right. The gray stuf on it dosent seem like it would work too good?

It's not too hard to remove the thermal pad pastes that comes with your CPU, but if you wait, it'll save you the hassle.

If you do decide to not wait, you'll want some Isopropyl Alcohol (rubbing alchohol) for cleaning when you change the paste.

I can hold off the overclocking for a few days till the AS5 gets here from new egg. Ill just use the thermal pad thats on there for the next few days. I just downloded XP x64 last night. Cant wait to get this thing running. Thanks for the helpfull info.
