There's a snake in my wall!

Anyone know how to get a snake out of the wall?

My brother was feeding his snake the other day and it got out while he was cleaning its cage. It crawled under the cabinet in the bathroom where it found a small hole in the wall to curl up in. Besides cutting a bigger hole does anyone have any ideas as to how we can get the little bastard out?

I know about snakes on planes but not in walls.

He'll show up sooner or later. Buddy of mine lost his snake and found it alive a long time later between his mattress and bed.

If you're desperate you might want to try smoke.

Well he is bound to come out at some point, possibly at night since a lot of snakes are nocturnal.

I think you're probably screwed. Snakes can go months without food in cold dark places.

take a mouse, and kill it, or if he feeds FT, thaw it, and drag it along the baseboard of the wall to get its smell there.

the snake will come out and follow it.

I guess they only thing we are worried about is that we have a few cats. The snake is still fairly small so I doubt he would be able to eat one of the cats but Id be pissed if he killed one trying.

He just ate...not sure if he would really care enough to leave the hole

he will, all snakes still have their wild genes in them, they will eat prey anytime it walks by, not often in the wild prey walks by, so they eat when they can.

thus he should come out.

the cat will kill the snake first, and if not, the snake will get severly injured by a paw swipe, most likely leading to its death.

Cat vs Snake? Cat wins unless you have a really big snake. My cats would kill King, Gopher, and Garter snakes.

You speak with so much authority, my hands are shaking just quesitoning you. However, from my understanding, snakes eat until they are full and they stop eating for a very long time (weeks, months). I have seen videos of snakes watching prey walk by. They don't care because they are full. I have also seen a pride of lions watch gazelles graze nearby. They are not goldfish. They don't just keep on eating.

Paint your main finger like a snake, stick the snake like finger in any available hole. Then make a hissing sound while sticking it there ;) . And hope for the best for the real snake to get a good grip with the "other" finger snake :p

haha, actually maybe I could "borrow" one of my cats' tail. Just stick it in the hole and when the snake starts to swallow yank him out.

wasn't there an episode of home improvement where this exact scenario happened? What would Tim, the Tool-Man Taylor do?

he probably fed him one or two hoppers, or maybe fuzzies, they are full to a point, but will eat more.

trust me, it wil work.

He usually feeds him some huge rats. I cant believe he can actually get them down they are so big.

i would try to use a flashlight and a mirror on a stick to get him out. Also snakes dont need to eat alot but they do need water. Maybe if you place a light outside of the hole it will follow the light when it gets thristy and come out??
