there's a fly inside my laptop

because I'm a lifer, I felt compelled to post about it

earlier this evening, I was on my desktop, with my laptop open (but shutdown, nothing running, etc) on the desk next to me, when a fly landed on my laptop keyboard. without even thinking about it, I just slammed the lid down when I saw it.

now I've got a fly trapped in my laptop... can't decide if I should take it outside and let it go, with the possibility it might just find a way to get right back into my apartment, or just wait for it to die.

I have an insect stuck inside my laptop monitor, I had given it for servicing to IBM and when I got it back I found this insect moving around it died a few days later but i can still see it.
