There would be NO America without Immigrants

This is a no-brainer.

Now dammit, immigrants aren't the problem people are complaining about.
Illegal immigrants are the problem.

Exactly. Immigration is fine. But Illegal immigration brings the people we don't want in our country.

Yep. My wife and her whole family are immigrants. My father in-law spent about 10 years in a commy prison for helping the US and they could not come to the US until after Clinton open relations. Even then they still had to get on the waiting list and wait a couple years. But they did and are here 100% legal and waited there turn even though they should have gotton her faster for what my father in law went through alone.

Yup, why this confuses so many people I have no idea. I guess it's just easier for the masses to hate all of them or something stupid like that.

Your father-in-law deserves a medal. If not for simply setting an example for other immigrants, it should be for his ferocious iron will to make his family and their future generations much better and doing it the right way.

What did he do to help the US which got him thrown in prison?

lots of S. Vietnamese got thrown into prison for helping the US and then "re-educated" (tortured) when the North won.

He was a high level person in the South Vietnam gov. So after we left all the south gov people and military people were thrown in a prison. He said a lot died in prison as they gave little food and supplies.
When they did get to the US he got a job as a security guard and made his kids, my wife is the youngest, go to school. My mother in law comes over to our house all the time. We have ober 1/2 a acre, really big for N.VA, and let her do what she likes with plants and such. Of course he still wants me to learn Vietnamese. I keep telling him i will as soon as his daughter gives me some free time. 🙂

It seems to me that the "confusion" is more on the side of those that think illegals should get welfare benefits and such. They like to lump them all together so they can say that others dislike all immigrants or all immigration.
