George Reeves was much better and just about any actor would be better than Christopher Reeve. The man is about the most wooden actor I've ever seen.

I actually think this new guy looks somewhat similar to Christopher Reeve's IMO.

I never said that. But at least I learned as a child not to speak ill of those that had gone before me. Just a matter of manners, ya know? Oh.....guess I should know better than to expect that here, shouldn't I?? ;)

Maybe in what they show in the previews, but did you see that 2 hour history of superman thing on A&E?

Shows a lot more about the movie.

Criticizing his acting is not speaking ill of him. I'm not even saying I agree with the criticism but it is valid to criticize his acting skills. If someone was slamming him as a person or slamming his character I would be right there supporting you.

lol, just because the guy kicked it doesn't mean I have to put on the rose-colored sunglasses. He was a terrible actor.

Disagree. Bruce Wayne is supposed to be a dashing, young, bachelor in great shape. Something Adam West didn't quite have going for him. He always looked a bit older and boring. Too much like a father figure to be dashing and young. This is the exact reason Bale is a damn good batman, and Clooney would have been better if he didn't look 15 years older than he is and mean.

George Reeves in my mind will always be Superman, what a shame he commited Harry Carry :(

When I was a kid the urban legend was that he jumped off that building in LA that we used to see in every single TV show in the 60's but according to IMDB he shot himself.
