There was this snail on my window... ~~Confirmed~~ **Now with pic**

It has been sitting there, sideways, for weeks, or even months, in the part of the window that you hold to slide it up. I thought it was dead and just stuck there. Now, the first day of heavy rain we've had in a long time, the snail is crawling on the glass!! This is amazing. Do they hibernate until it rains or something??

It has been crawing down the window, since I noticed it. It returned to the part below the "handle". I opened the window so hopefully it will go outside.

Once my neighbor went through his entire garden and filled a two gallon bucket halfway full of snails.

Then he took the bucket, dumped it in the street, and ran over it with his car. We had squished snails stuck to the street for months.

Now there is another, smaller snail crawling along the ledge. If my camera wasn't in the car I would take pictures.

Goto your damn car! 🙂

it's pouring down rain and his umbrella is in the car. needless to say he's no boyscout.

*edit* it mysteriously stopped raining...

Your friend is a real winner!

Why the hell did I write "collection" when I meant "garden"? 😕

Anyway, he did it cause he didn't want snails in his garden. Why he couldn't find a less messy way to kill them, I dunno.

Why didn't he want snails in his garden? Why didn't he just release them in someone else's garden??

I had about a dozen of them on my back door over the weekend. Little tiny bastards, their shells were only about a quarter of an inch across.
