Ok I remember maybe 2 years ago (possibly 1) where I read an article talking about maybe sony releasing a laptop with a new battery technology superceeding Li-ion batteries. There was one disadvantage though, it would discharge immediately after the power source was gone but provided good battery life (go figure). I haven't heard of it since and it had some sort of variation of R,D and M or something like that in the name but I'm unsure, it just reminded me of RDram. Any ideas? Just wondering where the technology went, it's not a lead based or nickel based battery to my knowledge.
