There was a CA proposition to increase grad students tuition by 40%

wtf... we're poor already. LEAVE US ALONE DAMMIT! (I don't remember seeing such a proposition though on the last election)
 
What, you think having 4 tier-one schools is economically feasible under your current 'fees', which rivals Texas', and we only have one?
 
Tax payers can't afford you guys any more...outside the building and lights..tuition should cover all the cost of education.

That is NOT a ballot measure, its a budget measure passed by Governor/Legislature. So in other words, the 40% increase is happening whether you like it or not. 😛
