There is speculation cheeto interfered with NFL teams wanting to sign Colin Kaepernick

Come on who else is laughing their ass off at the all inclusive "there is speculation" title. There is speculation that Obama is a Communist:

There is speculation that Obama is close personal friends with a violent American terrorist;

There is speculation that monkeys might fly out of my butt:

And none of those were ever credible, based on any kind of normal evidence-based procedure.

This story about Trump, however, is highly credible based on simple observational evidence, Trump's own mouth and long history of petty grievances, his propensity to strong-arm fellow businesspeople, blackmail them; as well as do the same to foreign leaders for his own personal gain. We have mountains of evidence for all of these things, Trump personally admitting to doing all of them

That is how evidence works.

Are you comparing the nonsense conspiracies that you mention, based on exactly zero evidence, to the thoroughly evidence-based accusations of Trump holding petty personal grievances over the heads of others in order to abuse his vast presidential powers? We know he does this--he admitted it as early as last week--IT IS TRUE. ....please, try to square with us how, in your brain, the two unrelated accusations are remotely comparable.

Sure good thing he isn’t President

There is speculation that John Elway, being a Trump supporter, refused to sign any player who did the kneel-down thing, and that's why the Broncos are 0-4. 🙁

I'm the only one speculating that AFAIK, but there is speculation. 😛 ^^^ Right there.

Donald Trump May Have Intervened With Colin Kaepernick's Signing And Fans Are Furious

Donald Trump May Have Prevented Colin Kaepernick Signing, Fans Express Outrage

Again, there is nothing that surprises me that the fat , orange bastard would or wouldn't do.
The speculation is that the NFL wants to legalize NFL (online I assume) gambling, and the pres and Congress need to sign off on it.
The thought is that if anyone may sign Kaepenrick, the cheeto would give is a thumbs down.
His hatred for Colin Kaepernick and his kneeling is well-known.
I hope Colin sues the living shit out of the NFL.
EDIT: Plus if it was coordinated, time for some anti-trust justice.

actually, He already settled a suit against the NFL related to this.

....but I wonder if there is substantial enough evidence that Trump thrust his tiny grabby fingers into this, that he can bring new charges--against the US government. lol?

I hope so.

And for the other non believers here is the section of law that pertains to this

While this sort of behavior from Trump technically wouldn't surprise me, I can't credit this one as even a good speculation. Why? Because I'm a 49ers fan and I watched Kaepernick play for three seasons. He's a great athlete. He's not a good quarterback. He can run the ball like no one's business. But he's a completely ineffectual passer. He was only a good QB before opposing defenses figured out that he could only throw from the shotgun in a spread formation. Once they started keying their defense to that style of offense, he was completely ineffective. They tried to make him a pocket passer over and over again but he just couldn't do it. That's why they let him go.

Why is this relevant? Because the fact he isn't a good quarterback is a wholly sufficient reason in and of itself why no team would sign him. Occam's razor. You have a known, simple and logical explanation for a certain outcome. You don't need to posit a behind the scenes conspiracy. Is it possible? Sure, it's within Trump's wheelhouse. But possible means little when there are known and obvious reasons for the observed phenomenon.

I'll re-evaluate if or when I see some actual evidence. But I have to say, given all the crap we're dealing with right now, especially the vastly more important things for which there is actual evidence of wrongdoing, I don't know why we're wasting our time on this.

I don't think reporting this kind of speculation is helpful. It's an interesting idea, but let's see them gather some evidence first.

Don't you think it's rather odd, with all the desperate teams in need of a QB, that CK wouldn't even get a kick of the tires? Hmmm..

Even the Eagles had the far less accomplished Tebow on their preseason roster a few years ago.

He may not be a football God, but he's still been to a Superbowl. His politics are controversial, but considering how many child and wife beaters, alleged rapists and other degenerates still have a roster position, you wouldn't think civil protest is the disqualifying line.

Now is it Trump directly, or rather just league owners? Eh, who knows, but something is/was certainly amiss.

There are plenty of reasons teams wouldn't want anything to do with Kapernick. He is capable, I agree, of making a roster, but that's not good enough. Could Trump directly be involved? Sure. But I'm gonna try and point out conspiracy theories regardless of where they come from.

Funny how conservatives have become communist sympathizers over Democrats.

Trump took the communist over his own country at Helsinki

Agree that this is bad speculation, but your entire argument (Kaep not getting hired because he’s a bad quarterback) was completely negated by the settlement he just reached with the NFL. They black flagged him—otherwise he would’ve at least been able to workout with teams who could then decide not to hire him based on his performance.

How was it "completely negated" by the settlement? You think a settlement worth half a years salary is an admission of "collusion" on the part of all 32 teams in the NFL? Kaep sucks as a QB. He wasn't signed for this year even after his settlement in February. It's unlikely he ever will, and if he does, he won't be a starter. If he was any good, he would have been snapped up a long time ago because that is how the NFL works.

It's sad for our democracy, but it's probably the best for Kaepernick. He is getting paid millions by Nike without having to risk additional traumatic brain injury and early death. He is the most famous and marketable football player, aside from maybe Tom Brady, and he doesn't even have to play football.

Yea cause ... Trump is not vindictive like that ... so improbable it is.
What kind of rocks did you study?

Why even post such dumb speculation like this? Trump already has a fat stack of actual and plausible misdeeds to point to. This supposed strong arming doesn't even make sense. The NFL doesn't care what he thinks, most owners are inclined to squelch Kaepernick anyway, woolfe already commented on his athletic performance, and this has literally no basis in reality with sports betting legalization efforts.

Cause if it IS true, you might be able to hit a maga demographic not otherwise reachable. I get it.

I’m just following because it is believable and absolutely hilarious if proven true.
