Again, there is nothing that surprises me that the fat , orange bastard would or wouldn't do.
The speculation is that the NFL wants to legalize NFL (online I assume) gambling, and the pres and Congress need to sign off on it.
The thought is that if anyone may sign Kaepenrick, the cheeto would give is a thumbs down.
His hatred for Colin Kaepernick and his kneeling is well-known.
 
why am I not surprised. it would be fitting if this was what caused him to lose the presidency.

I agree although as a consequence of other behaviors this is entirely believable possibility, which makes this President unique. Nothing is so bad that it might not be true.

Of course if it was found to be the case it would constitute another abuse of Presidential power for personal gain to what might be The Great Big Scroll of Trump.
 
In other news, I heard a rumor that Trump ordered big pharma to put placebos in bottles of ED medication that will be delivered to pharmacies in stores frequented by brown people. I find this wholly credible given his racist tendencies.

Small correction:

He bought a USFL team instead of the Cowboys and called it a better investment, cratered the USFL, and then lost out on buying the Bills.

Trump holds grudges until his death. Just ask him about his tiny hands. Obviously, his unending hatred of the NFL owners that denied him his "sovereign right!" to own the buffalo Bills still sticks in his many-jowled crawl.

So, "long time ago" is not part of the calculus of understanding Trump's policy decisions which are only ever reflective of his many petty grievances in life.

Look at at this way: You fools have spent an endless amount of time poo-pooing all the individual things that "don't alone amount to impeachment or real crimes!" (by your own, instantly-established standards, mind you), that you've ignored that each one of these things are just individual parts of the many-acres forest of Trump family crimes and impeachable offenses.

It's the entire story, and you guys have reduced yourselves to tunnel vision on each issue, completely incapable of connecting a dot or forming a normal, long-established routine of evidence-gathering and legal precedence that argues such a mountain of related, confirmed events of a criminal nature pretty much point to the obvious. But you you ignore every single one, for the sake of it. Youv'e even admitted to most of them being true, but "individually, not enough!" ...what about all of the things, in total, that you've admitted to being true?

Do you guys really not care that when the history of this time is told, you will basically be remembered as the dudes with hoses, spraying civil rights activists? Yes, you think you are completely right and justified in however you see these things, "because it was always that way!" (in your mind), but it doesn't change the fact that you currently live on the confirmed wrong side of history. This is your legacy, and what you do now is choose to exist among the many discarded ideologies that humanity learned to set a torch to.
