You should be more worried if you found coagulated blood. That means an internal bleeding. If it's red it close to your anus.

QFT.

If it's not coagulated but fresh blood it could be from a tear in your anal sphincter from trying to expel stools that are too big and hard, making the opening rip a bit and bleed in the process. In this case change your diet.

It could also be an indicator of something much more serious (even if there's not internal bleeding). Intenstinal issues can be manifested in such situations.

But yeah, if your poop is coming out in large, anus hurting chunks, something's up with your diet period.

Hemi's = need more fiber = eat more popcorn or drink a glass of Metamucil.
Diverticuli are a little more serious, butt can be rectumfied with diet change GENERALLY.
Go see a doctor if it continues.

HTF do you know if it's coagulated? Coagulated blood looks the same as poo, unless of course you've got "spinach green" or the clay poo.

Coagulated blood is close to black.

I'm gonna be totally honest and say sometimes my shits are too big for my hole, but I've NEVER had anything bad come from trying to get it out. It feels just as good as a normal-sized shit and is more of an accomplishment. Only time I ever had red come out of my ass was when I had like 200 licorice in an hour or so. Man I felt sick and that was the grossest looking fecal matter I've ever seen.
