There is nothing more irritating than when you buy something on FS/T and get lied to.

On the other hand, if you are a seller and can't get something out, you need to take it to someone who WILL wrap and ship it that is open late.

Busy?

Don't trade.

When you make a promise keep it.

I hate people that say I will get you a tracking number on monday and then on wen you still don't have it.

paid $100 for 2 sticks of 256mb pc 133 from crucial for my cousin's PC the other week. it was a gateway. gateway itself wanted $100 for 1 256 stick

why? you can get them for 25 bucks at newegg. (not crucial)

no you can't, not single sided (low density) anyway.

there's low density (chips are only on one side) and high density (chips on bot sides). Some older PCs can onyl use the low density. this was an old gateway. i did try it with high density and the PC wouldn't boot up.

i don't know the technical differences though.

Single sided ram has chips on 1 side of the PCB. Usually certain older boards cannot read double sided RAM sticks correctly and report only half the capacity.

single sided doesn't mean low density. single sided means 1 bank, double sided is 2.

density refers to the capacity of the individual chips, such as 128Mb, 256Mb, and 512Mb.

How about:
1. You buy something.
2. You get lied to.
3. The seller shoots you in the big toe and rubs jalapeño peppers in the wound.
Would that be more irritating?

thats how i read it online on several sites. either way, there's a difference and newegg doesn't sell the single sided chips.

Please. I have weeks where one day I may plan on having my week completely free, then no more than an hour later a project goes into crunch time and I have to put in a dozen hours overtime. There's nothing wrong with people trying to fit trading in to their schedule. There IS a problem with people being lazy asses, but don't always assume that's what it is. If you make it clear that their might be delays, then if you're that uptight that you can't handle that, don't f'ing buy from them. E-Tailers are NEVER reliable enough to get the thing out the same day, why should you expect anyone else to? Yeah, a week is excessive without making it perfectly clear before the deal goes down, but some of you FS/FT people need to stop being so damn high strung about this stuff. It's all casual to me. Don't like it? Put me on your coveted "DNT" lists.

I don't care who you are or how often you do this, if you want the item out in the next day or two or no deal, then please pass me up or ask me if I can do it first. And FFS don't try and be a cheapass lowballer to me and expect me to bust my balls for you.
