There is nothing more irritating than when you buy something on FS/T and get lied to.

I have been promised a tracking number twice now, first it was gonna be on Monday night, then it was gonna be last night.:|

How about:
1. You buy something.
2. You get lied to.
3. The seller shoots you in the big toe and rubs jalapeño peppers in the wound.
Would that be more irritating?

Why? I've yet to get burned since early 2001. I don't trade or sell that much but I think as long as you look up the person's credentials and past posts/threads, there won't be a problem.

I dig deep when over $100.00 is on the line **LMAO**

Use your best judgment. I always have in the back of my head though:................. If this person screws me over, I'll spend loads of money to see this guy burn in HELL!

I've never been burned before. Just not a fan of the lack of respect, the fact that all the sellers want msrp, and all the buyers want the best deal in town. Unless you're looking for older parts, I find it to be a rather useless place to go.

Mike---- With the brand new items yes, it can be a PINA.

It really pisses me off ........ Take for example.....
I recently traded my Mushkin 2x512mb pc3200 Lvl1 DDR 2-3-2 for Nero 7 and $40.00 PayPal.
I was originally asking $110.00 "SHIPPED" for these and there were people trying to get me as low as $90.00 via PM. I posted that if no one bought the ram, I was going to videotape me snapping both sticks in half if no one bought them..... just because. You can look up the thread if you want.

You cannot even buy CRAP ram for this! I got what I wanted and it's all good. It would've felt better to snap those puppies though!

rofl i have had those moments where i get annoyed at the low price i am forced to set or even when i post a great price for something it either generates no interest or PM's asking for an even lower price. I have wanted to break or throw away many things rather than go through the hastle. I also HATE shipping! so tedious trying to find the right box, package it right, write out the labels, then go to the post office.

However i have been here for years and continue to buy/sell, currently at 155-0-0. Would be at least 15 more but some memebrs didn't have heatware account or never left me heat

Things sell on FS/FT ... somtimes it takes awhile before you get a reasonable offer though & the lowballs can get annoying.

The only time I got burned selling somthing through AT was when I made the mistake of shipping first to a new member based on feedback form another forum.

Thats why i always set my price high so that ill get an offer for somewhere around what i really want. Takes longer to sell but im patient. The only thing that irritates me is that the last 10 or so deals ive done not 1 has left me heat. Ive all left them but none in return. And i dont bother to PM someone to remind em.

Fixed. ;)

Just relax. People have lives (well most do) outside of these forums. And it's also a busy time of the year for shipping. Or then again, maybe you did get trolled.

People have lives. Sometimes you just can't get out to get the post office in time. This is a very, very busy time in the year for some people. If you needed it that fast, you should have made it clear and paid them for 2-day shipping.

On the other hand, if you are a seller and can't get something out, you need to take it to someone who WILL wrap and ship it that is open late.

I still trade there occasionally.
I believe the worst is when you agree to Cross-Ship, then the other trader makes excuses about being able to ship until they receive their goods, then THEY ship!
I will not trade with these people ever again!

You can 2 new sticks of 512 pc3200 for $60, and a few months ago for $40.
