A distant ships smoke on the horizon.

This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb.
 
Forget it, the rat is dead - toss him into that river
It may seem bad, the water is cold and you start to shiver
But now the worms are coming and your problems are about to multiply
As you go beyond comfortably numb, go crazy when your brain begins to fry

I've been backstage and met the band personally - been following these guys since the Meddle days. Most here have to google that because their parents were teenagers then. 😛
