There is a skunk warming himself...

So the heater is actually below the house, and the bottom of the house is accessible. Pipes carry the heat throughout the house, but the skunk also has his odor carried throughout the house as well.

Smells like someone urinated in the pipes. 🙁

It's 8:20 atm, but I'm not going outside to look for him.

Good call not looking for him- you might find him. Ask the local ASPCA or shelter or vet office or whatever what you should do. Maybe they have some sage advice for you which none of us would ever think of.
