FWIW, I don't think Fox's straight news programs are all that bad
And there I was thinking you didn't go for "straight" news.
You shouldn't project your homoerotic fantasies on others.

Even following your twisted thoughts, "Most Gays are Leftists" does not imply that "Most Leftists are Gay".

Also, your obvious opinion to the contrary, I'm not even that far left.

Here's what i think of all the news organizations i consume on a daily basis.. but first let me give my background:

Education: Dual Political Science/History BA/BS degrees

Political perspective: Moderate Democrat

My opinion on the news available to me :

Fox= Right

MSNBC= Left

CBS= Center Left

CNN=Center (Of Recent) but still not being neutral... They still "Spin" ... They just seem to try to balance the opinions they give more.

BBC = Center .. or more appropriately ... Neutral (And is the only news organization that proffers objective reporting without inserting spin in my opinion)

One guy cited a conservative source as proof that Palin DESTROYED in the debate. I cited CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and Slate, all pointing to Biden victories. He said ALL OF THEM but FoxNews (and I would have posted their results, but they didn't even have a poll...hmmm, curious), are horrible and biased. Went as far as to call CNN the "communist news network".

Amazing. They actually think everything BUT Fox is biased.

Your first problem is that your on a Cowboys forum. Your second problem is that you're listening to Cowboy fans. Your third and most important problem, you are a fucking Cowboys fan! Redskins WIN! :D

And guess what the one type of person who think CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC are fair and neutral?

People who are educated and have studied media bias.

OMG, truly entertaining post. Do you fancy yourself the next John Cleese?

No, I'm just stating objective reality. People can repeat the lie that the media is liberal all they want, it doesn't make it any more true. The media is corporate, they exist to make money, not to pimp an agenda.

As has been mentioned on here before, the same people who claim Obama is a socialist/marxist also claim that the media is liberally biased. Do you really think these news stations, owned by some of the largest and most powerful capitalistic corporations on the planet, are really going to be pushing socialism? Use your brains guys.

there is no fair and balanced news channel.

Just like Fox is right wing, CNN is left wing. Both are very obvious to casual observers.

Yes, but then it was also your opinion that Hilary was a stone cold lock for the Dem. nomination, so Obama might as well concede early for the good of the party. Guess we know what your opinion's worth.

1)Those people who actually believe FoxNews is "fair and balanced". They are easy prey for propaganda and all hope of ever getting them to believe anything different is hopeless.

2)People who know that FoxNews is biased, but believe in principle with the positions of FoxNews so they say its "fair and balanced". Many hope to convince other people to believe in FoxNews, and therefore in their positions.

3)People who know that FoxNews is biased, but believe all other major media outlets are biased against their positions, and need some excuse as to why people should believe FoxNews over other media outlets.

Just my opinion.

I am quite sure you have the same opinion with MSNBC and CNN viewers! So what is the point? This is America and we can watch and hear anything we want even if it involves communism or democracy, Muslims or Christians, Jews or others. It's not like you are being forced to watch FoxNews or any other stations. You and you alone have the power to change channel or even turn off the TV set. Don't worry about what others watch or hear, worry about what you watch and hear on your own to see if you believe it or not.

I don't think Murdock is as "right" as people think he his, I think he just knows that a hard right news channel will get viewers.

When he lived here, and News Corp was incorporated here, he didn't really get involved in our politics. No where as much as someone like Kerry Packer.

And wasn't he friends/support of Clinton?
