Why does someone always do this. Who gives a d-mn. Its just a number. Now if its a birthmark on your head, thats something else.

Don't know about you, but that number does bad things to my mojo...

A number of years ago, I was working network support for a bank, and got handed a trouble ticket about a problem with the connections for the ATM machine. It turned out to be a major leased-line failure that ultimately involved every ATM in the central midwest area, triggered by a software failure at the regional phone-line switch office for AT&T. It started on Friday afternoon at about 12:30 PM CDT - just before the start of the Memorial Day weekend. They were not able to get everything completely back to normal until the middle of the following week.

The ticket number? You guessed it, the Number of the Beast.

I noticed the actual number just about the time that it became apparent that my holiday weekend plans had just been trashed. Not a good thing... :disgust:

Right on. That would be very scary if it was a birthmark

meh, so ya see a number on a web page, is it really worth posting a new thread about?

now if 666 was a birth mark? Whoa! Weirded out here!!

P.S. Yes I am aware of the irony of posting when I said it's not worth posting.
