While I liked Swayze's films he had his demons. He was an alcoholic for many years and only sought help after his sister committed suicide using drugs. What I found shocking was that he was a chain-smoker, you would not think that with his always taught body condition but with his father dead from a heart attack at 57 and cancer in his family genes it was something he should have made a serious attempt at stopping. The fact that he died from pancreatic cancer was more than likely due to the chain-smoking. That being said I still think he was a cool dude, he never fucked anyone over and was a genuine talent for sure.
