Yeah My facial hair grows back in in 8 hours... i use a braun electric, and it kicks ass. It works as good as a mach3, and even gets my neck really well.

I got it for $80 on sale at target, great shaver..

Mine has the cutter foil thing (not the 3 round things). How are you guys doing your necks?

mine is foil too...

even though the blade is dulling after a year of use, the foil is thinner and it shaves closer :)

I used to ahve a 3 wheel think norelco, and it stunk!!!!

have you talked to a barber ? try to find some ancient master who can slay individual hairs with a samurai
and not leave a mark ! they've seen and dealth with all kinds.

have you tried shaving while showering ? a warm shower will first massage the beard. buy a shaving brush. they
can help lift the hairs for a closer shave. better still . . ..

what kind of shaving cream to do you use ?

there are shaving creams that squirt from a bottle like liquid soap. you need to rub them in hard to work up a serious
lather and that in itself should relax the hairs. foam cans suck.

take your time. go extra extra gentle, especially since you may need to defy convention and shave against the grain !! ! !
the mach 3 or a ginsu-sharp straight razor preferred. repeat the above twice.

Haven't talked to my barber dude. Talked to the dermotologist and he suggested gel stuff and a mach 3 (which I had been using).

I do shave in the shower, that's why I'm running outta ideas :( It does seem to help though.

Tried noxema dimethicone (sounded neat), edge gels, gillette gels, etc. and none work better than any other.

No way, no how can I go against the grain. Entire area breaks out when I do that. Tried a few times and that just ain't gonna work, hurts way too bad (yeah I shave down first too) and get tons of ingrown hairs. I'll give my barber a shot. I don't know if he does shaving (he mostly does women anyway). Hopefully he'll have some clue though.

The problem with the permanent removal of male facial hair is that you face will age like a woman's, men don't wrinkle as much in the area we shave...
