Worst case scenario, they fire me... I attempt to fight it. If Im unable, I find a new job.

It might be a blessing in disguise :)

Its not that bad. For a college student Im sure I can get something that will suffice. Worst case scenario, I go back to my last job at Publix. The manager was gay and liked me a lot, so he'd take me back in a hearbeat lol.

Seriously though, Im sure I could get a job at a billion other crappy retail stores in the area. (Tampa) I'm not overly concerned about that. In fact, while Im out for a few weeks I plan on looking around for a new employer possibly.

alright, sounds ok

i just hate the fact that decent people get screwed over because of some one that's greedy/stupid/inecure/on a power trip, etc.

i would prolly just get a note from the doctor saying you shouldn't be working

throw it in your managers face, and if he has a problem with it tell him tough sh!t(but in a nicer way) if he fires you or somthing do what you can if you really want your job back

(it sounds like finding another job wouldn't be that hard) so if you do go for another job let your that employer know that you were "fire" or laid off because of that one stupid reason
