Eat now, and find a second job to feed children. Or put food in water boil and make a soup that will sustain both me and the children, get a second job to feed them better, and get the promotion.

This question is BS because you can't know the future. At the moment of your decision, you don't know when or if you are going to get more food. Any parent caught in that situation is going to feed their kids.

I have to agree with illusion88..

The law doesn't appy to me if my kid is starving.. I also own a gun..
