I will never feel bad about following a worker around the house again. Last few times my contractor came to fix something in the bathroom and I had the other bedroom doors locked.
 
Yeah, typically it isn't an issue as most stuff in the home of value is too large to pocket but the ring was sitting in the jewelry holder instead of on my wife's finger.

She will never allow someone in to our home again without watching them like a hawk.

The crazy thing is, I was working from home that day so my wife and I were both home when he did it... He was in the living room chatting us up and a manager stopped by to check up on him. While we were talking to the manager, the manager was filling out our invoice, the tech walked back in to the bedroom in to the master bath. That seems strange in retrospect now... Didn't ring a bell when he did it though... We both think that is when he took the ring.
 
Side note: The 1st visit was inside the house. After that they just sprayed the perimeter unless we ask. Palmetto bugs, FTL. Why can't we have peach bugs or sunshine bugs?
