No matter what I said (assuming I didn't disrupt the theater) NOTHING justifies them letting their child act the way it did. I didn't swear, and I only said the ONE thing. After I said something to her I didn't say anything for the entire movie, and the kid was talking the entire time.

I don't see anyone trying to justify their behavior. While your anger is understandable, you could have been right and SMART about how you handled the situation.

If YOUR behavior had been better, you might have been able to enjoy the actual movie, and then you'd be posting what you thought of it, rather than focusing on the other patrons.

Given the volume at which modern cinemas play the soundtrack, I'm rather surprised you can hear anyone in the theater. On the rare occasions I go to a cinema I bring earplugs just to make the volume tolerable.

while Avangers was not to violent i wouldn't take my kids to it. To many adults would be wanting to watch it. I do take them to kids movies and let them act like other kids.

can't wait for it to come out on blu-ray wooo!

i do the same. i try to go as early as possible.

I went to see a horror movie (think it was my bloody valentine remake) and some idiot couple brought a 3 yr old../facepalm

My son has a lot of freedom at home. He has a lot of freedom on the playground. He has a lot of freedom where it is appropriate.

He knows what is appropriate at a restaurant. He knows what is appropriate at the movie theater. And it didn't take corporal punishment. My son has never been spanked. He has never been hit. It just takes real parenting.....

When I was 18 or 19 the gf and I were sitting in our seats in basically an empty theater. Some dude and his gf sat right in front of us when there were plenty of empty seats all over. I loudly made a comment about it thinking they would move, they didn't. I went and got a soda for the gf and my self and as I was scooting by her to take my seat I leaned forward. The lid came off my soda and went down the back of the dudes neck in front of me.
They moved then.
