I thought it was that new-ish Amanda Marshall song... Can't even remember how it goes.. such a stupid song.. makes me sick.

Actually this entire thread is wrong, b/c the first post that started it is wrong. Aerosmith never wrote a song titled "Back in the Saddle."

The correct title of that song is "Last Child." Everybody thinks it's "Back in the Saddle" b/c that's the chorus.."I'm baaaack!!!! Back in the Saddle again!....."

Back in the saddle just sucks. apologies to those who do like it but man, i just think it's terrible. The intro doesn't flow with the song at all, and then the vocals during the chorus barely matches with the music playing behind it.

And a lot of you did post some pretty crappy tunes, but i really think "Back in the Saddle" is the worst. 😛

A lot of people will say that, even some Indie snobs which is surprising, but their lyrics lack substance. They write songs about writing songs, and they look like a friggin GAP commercial. The 2nd vocalist is as annoying as hell too.
 
WHEN I GET YOU ALONE - by some nobody POS. I used to work at a movie theater as a cashier and they had tv's playing preview/music videos and I had to listen to this $hitty song every 10 minutes. All the guy does is say "when i get you alone" over and over in different parts of NYC. D/L it and listen to it once and you will know what I mean. I wanted to kick in the fscking tv's every time it started playing.

american pie isnt that bad. its actually not a half-bad song, and the story behind it is even better. its a homage to those who died in that fatal plane crash that took the lives of ritchie valens, the big bopper, and buddy holly.

the most annoying song award in my book goes to... starland vocal band - afternoon delight. ever seen P.C.U. ? (stay up till 2am on comedy central, but nevertheless a classic college movie) try listening to thatm on repeat, guaranteed insanity.

Yeah I can kinda see that. =/ I tend to stick to their earlier stuff (311 and prior). Their bassist is freakin' awesome though.

I worked at McDonalds for a while, and they had a 50s theme. For some reason they played Afternoon Delight on a CD that had 7 songs. They played the same 7 songs over and over and over again. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Over and over and over and over and over.....
