When I was in HS there was a kid that got one on the eyelid, and waited for it to "go away." It didn't, and it got infected and swelled up to the size of a golf ball, so he talked to the administration and got the OK to wear sunglasses in class so people wouldn't stare at it. He was taking some medication at the time, and it was going down, but it was pretty gross.
Then in Gym Class we were playing soccer and the ball hit him in the eye, popping that big lump and spraying goo all over his face, and the ball.
YUCK.
