More proof that fashion designers and artists don't always have a better sense of fashion or art than you do, they could just be crazy.
Geeez, you guys are slow! While the designers want you to see their new collections, the focus of runway shows is really more for theatrical presentation. They don't expect you to wear or look the same way that the model does. For crying out loud, the girls usually don't even wear bras, and you could see through. It's just for you to see the clothes in their purity and art form. Then the hair and face is the place for the makeup artists and hair dressers to display their talents and creativity, while still in line with the designer's theme. What you see on the runway is not what you'll see in the retail store!

Thank you, Captain Obvious.

Does anybody know where can you get some of the acid they have been taking?

Nevermind, I don't think I should get that F't up

It apparently isn't obvious to many here--not even you, Mr. Pretend-I-Knew.

WTF are you talking about? I don't see anyone in this thread that actually thinks what the woman is wearing will be a reality in their local Sears store. EVERYONE knows that runway shows are all about being "artsy". LOL.

But hey, whatever makes you feel high and mighty

Don't worry, I'll think about you when next I get to act all high and mighty and have people adorn and adore me. 😉

Too bad there is nothing artistic about it.

Oh, I was only trying to correct an impression that I sensed here that what you see is what you get--including the headgear or freaky arts. However, I do think that some arts/presentations suck. I have seen some presentations that just make me say, what the heck was that designer thinking? I love his/her collections but think the presentation really sucked and took away the beauty of the clothing. There are some I wouldn't do ... not even so-called tasteful nude body painting.

I've read the entire thread. Apparently you lack reading comprehension skills. Why am I not surprised?

Lucky for me I don't have a need to feel high and mighty.

No one likes an attention whore. Maybe that's why you felt the need to start posting with a new name...
