i bet NONE of you can technically explain this:

why does Vicks VapoRub expire? all it does is stink and you breathe it in. and it still stinks after it expires. and e-tards cant tell the difference. so is there a reason i should go buy new vicks?

There's always the possibility that it "expires" so that you will buy another one and Vicks will earn more profit...

same reason every medicine eventually expires, it breaks down and becomes less potent. but the fda has found that companies greatly underestimate the amount of time it takes for drugs to "expire," so 1-2 year expired vaporub is probably just as ok as regular stuff.
