Just came across this on my iPad and my jaw literally dropped! I remember playing this game to death on my DS and getting almost every pin possible, it's without a doubt one of the most brilliantly designed games ever. I'm not happy about the $20 LAUNCH price, but all Square ports are expensive so I'm not exactly surprised. Just thought I'd share this since I know others on here share my praise for the game.

It was one of the best games on the DS. Gameplay styles was great and there were a ton of viable combinations with the pins.

FWIW, I didn't like it at first either and ended up not playing it for months while other games grabbed my interest. Once I picked it up and gave it another shot it consumed me, I couldn't put it down even while at home. Yes it was hyped and the style/gameplay was hard to get use to, but as the game went on things fell nicely into place. Not saying it will be the same for you, just that I empathize with those who bought it, didn't like it, and tossed it aside.

To each their own. I love Atlus games but Historia bored me compared to TWEWY. Can't even recall if I finished it.

Square-Enix has a habit of releasing games at high price points regardless of whether it's a port or not. I paid around $20 for Chaos Rings 2 on the iPad.

Also, you may want to request that this be moved to either Console Gaming, Mobile Devices or the Apple sub-forum.

Sorry, but TWEWY was one of the biggest disappointments for me. After getting so over-hyped, I finally picked it up. I regret it to this day. I wouldn't even call the game good, let alone "greatest".

The story is childish and unstimulating. The characters are one-dimensional. The hyped battle system was spammy and poorly designed. The game was too short, and I felt unsatisfied at the end.

I would not recommend this game to anyone.
