The Work Offline function under the File menu in IE....what does it manipulate?

Does it change some registry setting? What does it do exactly and where can I see the change when I check/uncheck it?

It downloads the page so you can view it offline. That's what it does.
 
He wants to know how to activate/deactivate it without clicking the menu. I would download a registry tracking utility off download.com, and take a snapshot of your registry before and after. Or search google for ""work offline" internet explorer registry", or maybe search the microsoft kb.

Eli, I know what it does just wanted to know where it makes changes.

Settings:
1=on
0=off

What it does: Attempts to recreate webpages based off of temporary internet cache.
