The word ****!!

Since when are we allowed to use them at AT forums, I am surprised as there was once a time when you would earn a 2 week vacation for saying Fvck and other swear words in here .

Now I see it on just about all the threads;somewhere or the other and used quite liberally as well?

Thoughts

Been allowed for almost 3 years now. See Forum Guidelines #6. And Locut0s is right - not in titles; not excessively in social forums and not much at all in the tech forums.

I personally, did not and never will support that change. 🙁

That's not the word that surprises me . Using the "C" word, in any form used to be insta ban.

I'm still amazed.

I don't support it either really. I mean this is ATOT but its still a tech site, not 4 chan.

I support it, because seeing people post things like "fvck" and "sh!t" is just, frankly, lame. If you're going to swear then just swear and don't worry about Gosh darning you to Heck if you do.

If I recall correctly, they used to have variations blocked too, though I may be mistaken. And honestly, I would rather see a variation than the actual word, if I was forced to see something. I'm in the minority, I realize, but seeing the language bothers me.

It's just characters on the screen, but the intended word is the same. Personally, I see zero difference between fuck and fvck, and while I understand that some people do, I guess I really don't understand why.
