The Woman who beat "Zen Master Ken" on JEOPARDY loses

lol, must have been one of those cases where Ken was having a complete off day and she was having a really good one.

Gotta wonder when and/or if we'll ever see anything the likes of Ken again.

Bah, you're a Yankees fan, you'll believe anything, what does it matter to you? 😛

I hear Steinbrenner lost $500 million dollars this year and they're laying off A-Rod, Jeter, and Giambi 😀

They taped her show not more then 30 minutes after she had the suprise of her life. I had no doubt that she'd lose, not because she wasn't any good, but because no one could win under those circumstances.

Heh... wishful thinking.

You been watching the 5-part thing on the Yankees on ESPN? I think it's a segment on Sportscenter, kinda interesting. Last night they basically said Giambi sucks balls now. Good thing the A's got rid of him.

I missed it. Did she beat him? Or did he lose and she just happen to have the higher amount of money at the end of the show?

She did very well on the high point questions, while Ken ran the lower point questions. Ken missed 2 double jeopardys and the final jeopardy question as well. If Ken hadn't missed any 1 of the double jeopardy or final jeopardy, or the 3rd contestant (who finished in the red) had done better, Ken would still be the champion.

Nope. I'm not too interested in baseball at the moment. Additionally, you would never catch me watching an ESPN program on the Yankeees. BIAS!

Yeah, I didn't watch it since I knew he lost (I saw the final question clip). What were the double Jeopardy questions that he missed and how much total did he lose?

One was a question about General Patton, the other was about a french hat, IIRC. He lost just over 5k on one and just under 5k on the other. Nobody in my family could get either one, which is fairly rare.

he lost exactly as i said he would lose - make some big bets on daily doubles and get the answer wrong, go into final jeopardy fairly close, and then get final jeopardy wrong.
