The Witcher Patch 1.2a released

thanks .. but i am waiting till the expanded content is released - May right?

i have 12 other brand new games ['06/'07] to play while i am waiting ... i actually started the Witcher [about 100 times] as i was trying to benchmark it and finally lost my way in the story in CH2 😛 ... i am going to restart - an 80% faster load sounds really cool ... it takes me about 3 minutes to load that first game save ... after that it was about a minute for a l"save/load" - but still too long .. stability was excellent and even though it is the "same" engine as NWN2, it looks like they fixed their memory leak for Vista 32

Thanks Bateluer,I'll test it out later now that I have SP1 installed in Vista x64,I'm hoping its fixed the full screen crashing problem that so many users like myself have had,moot point really since I have completed the game.

Patch size is 114.5mb,I hope you guys are not on 56k dial-up still(apoppin take note 😉 ).

it's about 15-20 minutes now .. thanks for the consideration
--AT&T *finally* got my connection working ... 3 days in a row!

So to counterbalance that situation in my life, my car broke down yesterday and i had it towed home for $100 🙁
[we were just talking about "psych" (was it "ic" or "o" ?) - i had the WORST feeling of apprehension all day .. i was expecting much worse .. so not that bad [unless it IS the engine]

... i can't seem to get anywhere [literally, now i have to rent a car while i trouble shoot my electrical system - from the symptoms, i'd say "igniter" .. $80 😛 .. there is compression .. originally i thought "timing belt" = "Blown engine"]
