Stinks, but I'd rather have them take their time to do it right rather than delay it to add DRM ala Atari.

I have been playing the Witcher modded to the Polish version, and I have to say, after hearing the English and Polish versions side by side, the Polish one kicks butt and takes names. It has much better voice work than the English one which is pretty uninspired.

Of course, years of watching Hong Kong martial arts and action films may have inured me to subtitled viewing, that and playing Stalker lots recently. Still, the emotional level is much better on the Polish version. IF they don't do as good a job on the new release, I may never play that one either.

I am actually not buying the Witcher until the Enchanced Edition comes out. I have heard a lot about how sub-par the English translation is, and I like to enjoy the games to the fullest when I play them. Additional improvements such as faster load times and better stability make the wait that much more worth it.

Same, hopefully the dialog will be much improved. I really do not want the NPCs walking around saying random stupid statements if what I have heard is true.

Looking at mose of the listed fixes, this seems like the "do it properly" version.
I guess I shouldnt complain. Most companies just release a half-assed product and leave it at that.
If its an online game it will get constant, minor fixes. But anything thats predominantly single player will usually stay broken, or get one small patch to fix the damn intro video or something equally useless.

I think I may actually buy this.
