I used to watch Wings, and I didn't even catch that, but how anyone could miss that it was him on MIB as Jeebs is beyond me.

This doesn't make sense to me. You seem baffled that people didn't realize it was him in MIB, yet you didn't notice him in a show where he was even more obviously Tony Shaloub.
Yeah, he has very distinctive facial features. His voice and speech cadence is also fairly unique. The only way I think someone didnt know he was on Wings was if they never saw it, which is understandable because it was a long time ago. He started Monk at least 10 years ago, so Wings was probably like 15.

I don't recall him acting strange in Wings (or Big Night, for that matter, the other place I'd seen him before MIB), whereas his MIB role may as well have been a casting call for Monk.

I don't remember seeing Suzanne Benton in MASH. Are you talking about Lt. Dish? That's Karen Philipp. They kinda look similar in some pictures...
I think they meant Catch-22, which that photo is from.
As a little girl she played the daughter of a father who hunted down serial killers and occult phenomena. It was a love it or hate it show, and it had ties to a super popular genre show.
