The Chevelle thread inspired me to start this thread. What band are you digging most these days? I'll start:

I have two actually, Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters. I like the freaky sounds of Queens of the Stone Age.

I didn't know they were still putting out CD's :Q

Only stuff I liked of their's was frogstomp and a couple other songs they put out on movie soundtracks.

It's not quite "new", it just hasn't gotten any airplay since they're not touring here any time soon since their singer/guitarist has some ongoing health problems.

But yeah, it's really good tho very different from their previous stuff. Much mellower and melodic for the most part and way more complex songwriting. I downloaded it out of curiousity a while back and thought I'd accidentally d/led the wrong stuff by accident. 😛

There are lots of song clips on their website.

A small crew of forum members server as forum moderators. One of the biggest no-no's of this forum is registering under a new handle in the event that your primary one get's banned (short term or long term, doesn't matter).

Mod's have access to IP addresses and registering emails, so mods use that to verify multiple user names.

They're anonymous, but do post under regular user names as well.

Hmmm, I used to Admin at a smaller forum ( The Drunken Forums or ADF ) and we were entirely visible to the members. I guess this way works well as you never know if the person you are "misbehaving" in front of is an Admin. Mind your P's and Q's boys and girls. 🙂
 
Hammerfall and Nightwish, two really good metal bands. Still get the "townie music" comments from everyone at school, damned judgemental fools.
