If you have that many, there may be a nest somewhere. Pray that the little ones are too young to survive on their own. There could be as many as a dozen in each litter.

Why use a glue trap, and not something that kills the animal instantly?

I've seen animals chew their limbs off those things to escape, so yeah, forgive me if I am not as sympathetic to your plight as I'd usually be.

Some jurisdictions have banned glue traps on the grounds of animal cruelty. It's a slow death by starvation. Poison should be avoided as well, as it poses a risk to other animals.

Snap traps or the non-mechanical live capture traps work best in my experience. I've had mice get their head stuck in the mechanical live capture traps.

These are good as well. The added advantage is that they are reusable.

6 months lol. You do know the gestation period for mice is about 20 days and they start breeding at about 50 days. :D

You need to prevent them from getting in or there will always be more.

I wiped them out in my garage by covering the dog food, and using snap traps with peanutbutter. thought there was only one, ended up being about 10 of them or so.

Leave those mice alone Mayne.

They are just hungry, cold, and sad. They need a warm place to live, prosper, and multiply!

Yes, leave them alone. It's not like they have the potential to carry and transmit viruses, bacteria and diseases.

If you live in an apartment chances are you will never get rid of them unless there is a coordinated effort. like any other pest you may get in an apartment.

I've caught about 5 over the weekend. It's been a little over 24 hours and my traps are still clean so I think I might be done.

I may never get rid of them...so many ways to get in here. Very old porous apartment. I think I have them on the ropes though.

Mice have a brain about a millionth the size of a human brain. But this is Mayne we're talking about here, so my money is on the mice.
