You all dropped the show or something? Where is season 8 discussion thread? 😀

Episode 2 aired last night!

epi 1. 20 people have their guns on Neagan and it turns into a my dick is bigger than yours banter between rick and neagan and when triggers are finally pulled neagan is not shot...

yea, but that is like...every tv show and movie ever. If they just shot them in the first 5 minutes there'd be nothing to watch 🙂

I mean, we were sitting there going, wtf doesn't anyone just shoot him? but that is the reality of 'bad guys' in entertainment.

I thought everyone dropped this show in like season... 3? I seriously can't believe its still running, or rather I can't believe there are still such rabid fans for it.

Still watching but so far this year there has been little to recommend it.

Where are they getting all this ammo? I thought I was watching "Saving Private Ryan" last episode.

Hows that? Oh yeah, and the King was really chewing up the scenery also.

Agreed. I thought ammo was scarce.

Season 3 and 4 were awesome. The Governor is one of my favorite bad guys but you could see the pattern emerging that would dictate the future: Rick's group overcomes a bad guy, moves to a new place and settles in only to encounter a new bad guy and now they have to overcome the new bad guy. Rinse and repeat. At least Seasons 1 - 4 had some surprises but now the show is so stupidly predictable. Even worse is that they are milking the latest bad guy Negen for two seasons now and I wouldn't be surprised if this encounter with him goes for another season. Too many fricken opportunities to kill the guy really turns me off.

And yea the endless amounts of ammo and gas they suddenly have is yet another reason I've lost interest in the show. It needs a major plot turn badly!

Duh.
It was two arrows on the bow at the same time.
or
She's an Elf from LotR's. They could do that too.
or
One was a mortar indirect type shot and the other a direct shot.

Who is Morales? I can’t even remember him. Who is he and why were they so shocked?

I had to google him, and still don't really remember him.

This show's character development is terrible outside a handful of core characters. I haven't really cared about anyone that has died since Lori. Yes, that includes pop-eye.

Morales is the Spanish guy from season 1. He's the guy who decided to pursue another route than follow Rick and the crew to the CDC center. He had his wife and kids.

At this point Morales can go either way. He can help Rick or hurt him I mean.

I hope they dont try and make Morales a Badass. Daniel from "Fear the Walking Dead" is the ultimate Mexican/South American badass. Morales could never outdo him.

1. They didn't kill Negan in the first episode. They sniped evvvvvveryone else. They didn't snipe Negan. I am mad at the writers for that. Rick literally gave a speech about how only one person had to die in the first episode. And then completely ignored his own advice. Such a cheap move, writing-wise.

2. Nobody killed Gregory this episode. The good guys are dumb.

3. Morgan should have killed the whistling guy.

So much for Morales being a badass but Maggie did scare me a little when she yelled at Gregory.

How long till we find out about Gabriel? Way to milk out a storyline.

How about we cut out the mandatory these days gay scenes. Wait ,I guess we did with whats his names death but I hear Kevin Spacey is looking for work.

Another meh episode. "When you come at the King you best not miss" yeah, right. These last 2 episode have made me hope they didnt.

Yh I agree. So many pointless scenes. Ofc they are going to milk the series, they make so much money per ep.

Yeah, we all know that Gregory is going to free those prisoners and get them back to Negan. The only question is if they do it in the next episode, or if they wait until the following one.

Maybe they'll surprise me, and have Daryl shoot him instead 🙂
