The episode was kinda goofy, but after the last episode I didn't mind some hijinks and the michone in bed scene was pretty awesome.

Was I the only one thinking that in a "world ended years ago" situation in which everyone is fighting for the very few supplies left and you happen across a container truck full of food that you should get it back to safety as soon as possible instead of taking your new giant bulls-eye for a joyride?

Exactly. A bird in the hand...

I also like the Rick/Daryl ridiculous supply run. I think Jesus is going to be fun addition, but I'm afraid we'll see a bit more culling of old characters as the new ones are introduced.
They definitely need to bring the pain as far as the core group is concerned. Who do we have from the original Atlanta episodes? Rick, Daryl, Carol and I think that's it - oh, and Coral. Rick is the hub for the group so he can't go. Carol and Daryl are too popular. I think they teased us with Carl almost getting killed so he might be a candidate.

From there, who do we have from the farm? Glen and Maggie and I think that's it. Neither of those 2 are safe. After that, we've got Michonne, Abraham and I think Tara. Michonne is probably safe now that she's been introduced as a love interest but then again, it could just be to make it hurt more if they kill her. The other 2 are ripe for the picking.

They say that a major cast member is set to die
in the season finale
, and an unexpected one at that.

When the stars read the script, I guess they were all quite shook up... even Andrew Lincoln (Rick) had trouble sleeping that night.

My money's on Daryl, everyone loves him. Could be Glen, perhaps Maggie but I think that'd be unlikely honestly. With the new tryst going on though, Michonne could very well be the target. Rick can't have anything nice. It won't be Coral though, no way.

I was a little annoyed by the fact that they made Jesus so hipstery. I felt like he was about to offer Rick and Darryl a pour over using only the finest single origin beans. He seemed like he was out on a supply run for more beard wax and suspenders.

Thanks. I remembered that after I posted but it was too much work to change it.

Glen was the guy that saved Rick from the tank, right?

Yes. He's the oldest surviving cast member aside from ricky grimes (and Morgan)

They seem to be working on killing Larry's brothers. The've emasculated him already by taking his cross-bow. I also think that the Glen fake-kill was a legit precursor to him taking it to save the baby.

I think the script read "whoever demands the most for their contract re-up".

In other news Tancredi is now Sawyer's wife in Colony... so now she can piss you off by fucking up someone else's life.

Yeah, as much as I'd hate to see him go, I think it's going to be Daryl.

That said, if we lose Glen, Daryl&Daryl, Rick, Coral, or Carol we're running dangerously close to "Ship of Theseus" questions.

Imagine if they split and two seasons later it was two 'ricks' groups against each other; but neither of them knew anyone from the other group...

Actually, maybe Carol is on the way out. She has been questioning herself lately, big change in character since she went hardcore with Tyrese's girlfriend back at the prison & kind of never looked back. She's thawing out finally...but will that make her weak? She hasn't been too much in the last few episodes, other than taking care of the Wolf guy...

That hadn't occurred to me but now that you mention it . . . day-um. 😱

The way they've dealt with that sort of thing on Z Nation is they just ignore it. Maybe not completely since now in the second season you do have a core group. Plus there's Murphy who so far is critical to the story.

Also, in terms of the timeline, even though we're on season 6, isn't only about 2 years in story time? Each season seems like forever for us but if you think of it in terms of the timeline, a huge shitload has happened to the group in an incredibly short time.

Right? What happened to using snow mobiles in the winter?

I think it will be Daryl. Maybe Glenn. Highly doubt Maggie or Michonne. I think the show will eventually transition into "that show about Coral" instead of "that show about Rick" the further along we go. I could even see Rick being killed off in the distant future.

I'd probably go with Rick being the next to go. It'd be a bold move killing off who's arguably the main character, but we've seen it done to good effect in other shows (won't name them to avoid spoiling outside of their own respective threads). If I had to guess, we'll see Negan send a message by taking out their leader (Rick), "Join or die." You could say that Negan could kill anyone to send that message, which is true, but cutting off the head is more effective at making the body less effective and weaker.

They are going to kill off Daryl so Norman Reedus can work full time on Boondock Saints 3.

Also he has his non-fiction/reality show about bikes on AMC, was just in another movie (releasing this week), and will likely start to get some more movie roles after Boondock Saints 3.

It's quite likely to be him, which will be sad, his character is awesome, but either he wanted to move on or they just felt it was finally time to shake things up.

I don't think that will ever happen, or if it does, not until near the end or the end. The producers stated in an interview that this is the Rick Grimes show. It's about him, his family, his friends, and the people they run into & the situations they get in.

Pretty sure it's going to be Daryl, like destrekor said, because of his current & upcoming film work. Second guess would be Carol because of her character arc changing to where she's not a cold-hearted killer anymore.

I'd say maybe Morgan, but he just kind of pops in randomly & is there to balance Rick out. Although with the Michonne hookup, maybe she's the new balancing act, so he can go. They do a good job in this show with keeping you guessing!

Rick can't stick his dick in anybody without them dying, so Michonne is toast

I actually think it'll be Carol. She hasn't been a big part of the story in a while and I don't think she'll be that missed, but since she's been with the group for so long it counts as a "big" death.

:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Nice reference, I wonder how many of the whipper snappers get it.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Unfortunately, I think you're right. Daryl would seem to be a logical target because of all his other pursuits outside of this show. Not 100% sold on it though, it could be Carol too. No way is Rick getting offed though, and no way are we lucky enough for them to finally get rid of Koral.
