It doesn't look like they're going to continue the storyline with the Wolves. I'd be disappointed if they finished off those bad guys already, but they killed what looked to be the leader who took the gun after fighting Morgan, and the rest of them were taken out by Carol & co. It would be odd that an opposing group wouldn't send their full force to take a town, either. But they've put so many hints along the way of how bad the Wolves are...marked zombies, crazy people drawing W's with blood on their foreheads, etc. But they also have no resources, they didn't even have guns, so...yeah.

So either the herd will take the town, or they'll somehow divert the herd & keep the town. Or retake the town post-herd-invasion. But then what? If the Wolves are gone & the herd is gone, what's the next threat? So I'm kind of thinking they'll have more Wolves down the line, because they need some nutcase like the governor to indoctrinate people with the anarchist mindset - plus they seemed pretty spread-out before, like when Morgan met the pair back in the woods.

Also, if Maggie's pregnant, they'll need to work on some kind of cure for the living, so that Judith & Maggie's baby will be safe inside their safe haven. So I'm thinking Eugene will come back in to play in some role for that. Because the only way they can really be safe in this series, the only way they can effectively end it, is if they have a cure for at least the living & a safe place to live, which is pretty much Rick's goal since Judith was born. That way zombies can't get in & anyone who dies inside the walls won't re-animate.

On top of that, it seems like they found out about Alexandria from the backpack, but they would have already known about it if she was a wolf.

As for what is coming next, my money is on the herd hitting Alexandria, hard.

Enid was trying to tell "Coral" something and he kept cutting her off. When she said "That's how we were able..." and he cut her off, I think that's the hint she is a member of collaborator. We'll see what happens but I think she has something to do with them

When she said that, I assumed she was referring to how they snuck out. Like I said, I can totally see the writers going that way but the whole backpack thing will make it very inconsistent.

Remember, she was always sneaking out into the woods as well.
 
I don't think the majority of the viewing male audience will be able to relate to a character now that Glen may be gone. I fear for its survival now.

Not so much a cure as much as the dude who puts things together in order to make that happen. I dunno. Even though he isn't field-educated, he is a fairly smart dude & could probably rig something up. Although he didn't do too well at the trauma table :biggrin:

Yeah, I don't think Enid is involved. They had the foreshadowing when she was reading the Wolf comic book, but she went out to the woods & was followed by Carl, so that cleared that up (just went out to chill) and felt that the oncoming siege meant everyone would die, so she'd best take off before that happened. And since the Wolves found out about Alexandria from Aaron's photographs, she wasn't the snitch.

Everyone is already infected, doesn't make a difference. The only time it matters is if you get bitten or scratched, like when Hershel had to deep-six his leg. Plus the show people said it'd be too expensive to do for a main character - they'd have to green-screen his hand every show, so there'd be a lot of VFX involved, plus they shoot on film, so $$$.

"some version of Glenn or parts of Glenn": I'm thinking that means a baby. I don't think it's Glenn's zombie hand copping a final good bye feel from Maggie.
 
If they killed Glen off, I'm done with this show. Out of the very few likeable characters left, he's the most likeable one.

If you could get sick and die from blood/goop transmission, no one would be alive. At this point every seasoned character has been showered in guts, while sporting open wounds. It's all about the bite.

Let's face it, the biology of zombiism doesn't make any sense. Come to think of it, there's so much that makes no sense. You either go with it, or hate stories like this.
 
I think the most likely scenario, given how that scene was filmed and the things we're learned since, is that Glenn landed under Nicholas. The body we saw being torn into was Nicholas. The angle looked very weird, even watching live - the intestines were coming out way too high to be Glenn's abdomen.

That said, I think it's pretty stupid. There's going to be some crazy stupid deus ex machina that saves Glenn at the last minute. This was all just to generate buzz for an otherwise kind of crappy episode (other than Rick's last few scenes). The next 2 episodes (assuming next episode is all Morgan backstory) will get a ratings bump as people tune in to see if it's real. Then we'll get our stupid saved at the last minute plot device, like in Fear TWD.

I don't think the zombies could have opened the lid and they can't eat through the metal. They might be able to stay there long enough for the zombies to give up and go away. Or they could have used that fire escape blocked by a couch.

If Nicholas' corpse was on top of Glen, Glen could have knifed/melee'd a few zombies, just enough to block himself off. The zombies don't seem to eat things to the bone so they may not start digging into him if he's underneath.

Hmmm this could be correct because we need to have someone survive to tell the tale "Always listen to Rick when he tells you to dump someone slowing you down"
 
TWD has been increasing in viewship since the first season. But w/ season 6 they dipped.

I don't know if they film a whole season before they start running episodes, but if not, they're likely going to try to create more buzz about the show especially in the target demo.

Maybe they anticipated this would happen and decided to try some new tricks. I think they need to do that but cheesy stunts like this aren't the way to go - assuming that Glen is still alive. Personally, I'd like to see them kill a major character and I'm not sure I would really miss glen all that much.
 
Only safe people are Daryl, and Rick. Wouldn't even miss Rick that much, they've had Daryl and Mschone do squat this season but if he/she goes there are legions of people who will be pissed. Glen was awesome in season 1-4 he's kind of a bit character now.
