this show is getting hard for me to believe

sasha acting way too crazy

the Phil character is such a characature as to be completely unbelievable

why would this guy be beating his wife? it makes no sense

Especially considering that in this new world, getting laid would be nice now and then.

All this talk about someone dying next week... Last night's Talking Dead revealed one of the guests on next week's show. Hope it's not that character.

This bugged me so much while watching them fight. I was expecting Rick to make quick work of him once it started but I guess that would not have been dramatic enough.

The Gov beat his ass too. I don't think Rick is meant to be that tough hand to hand. Toughest ones out of the regulars were probably Gov, Merle, Tyrese, Shane, Daryl and Michonne.

Who was it? You should put it in
spoiler wraps
. Also why is it that a character has to die at every mid-season break and finale? Is there some sort of unofficial TV law stating this?

EH - makes for better T.V.... People gasp when they see their hero about to die or fall off their pedestal.

For me the biggest plot hole is that the doctor is an alcoholic and wife-beater...and he's somehow an alcoholic in the middle of a zombie apocalypse where even if the town might be well supplied, they're still knowingly supplying him with enough alcohol to be blitzed what appears to be 24/7. Yeah, good job enabling your doctor.

They sort of acknowledged the enabling of him: "he's the doctor, we need him happy and cooperative for doctorly things, so we turn a blind eye to everything else. "

Not me...every time it happens I think what a punk ass mofo! Couldn't beat someone with one eye or a drunk doctor. Michonne had a height and weight disadvantage against the Gov in a closed space, and she walked away from that fight with his eye!

yeah, but they have an excellent excuse: "sorry, its the apocalypse, we've run out of booze, no more to give you."

They said the mystery or surprise guest was going to be Carol.

"Sorry, its the apocalypse, I've run out of give a shit, enjoy that nasty looking cut!"

Deanna has already expressed she is afraid to actually enforce any sort of order other than "You're outta here! Please don't come back and kill us all." She is fine allowing Jesse to be beaten and the children be traumatized by it, because doctor > *.

A main character doesn't die every week, yet they have the Talking Dead every week so just because an actor/actress is due to appear on it, does not mean their character is being offed

This. Carl was on the last episode and he didn't die, to all our misfortune. If anything, Carol is going to be put to a hard choice and have to kill someone. I am going to guess the doctor kills Jesse in a drunken rage, Rick gets his "told you so" moment, and Carol takes the law into her own hands and offs him. Deanna, still the moron, expels Carol and the cliff hanger will be something along the lines of either her holding up Morgan or Morgan holding her up.

We just spoiler tagging random stuff now?

We just spoiler tagging random stuff now?

It is in the context of who will be on TLD next week in relation to who has a perceived possibility to die on the finale. It was also asked to be tagged. Not tagging the discussion after would remove any reason for the initial tag to exist.

And, we wouldn't want this to turn into another GoT thread where people cry spoiler ever time something is mentioned they didn't see in an episode.

I did not watch the talking dead but I hope Church man dies next week. He is useless! :sneaky:

Daryl is dead man walking. Aron is a wolf and will get him to join or die.
Enid is going to become twd family for next season.
Glenn is going to die in an "accident" by Sasha.
Sasha has PTSD, yes, but she's only really upset about the loss of here brother Tyreese really, really.

Trust me.

Nothing I've seen has hinted they were cannibals. It just appears they are using marked people as bait to lure walkers closer and closer to the compound (and in greater numbers). It would be a great way to observe their defensive patterns.

Why would you mark them though? They would serve the same purpose marked or not but marking them could potentially give up your element of surprise.

Also, I think the husband who fought Rick is going to kill Jesse now. No more half measures... Rick should have simply taken that guy out immediately. Also, what kind of pussy is Rick? He can't beat down some nerdy ass doctor. This soft piece of garbage who beats women and children? He should have been easy to drop.

I think he was holding back because if he didn't he would have killed him. Lady has a point, the mans a surgeon and it doesn't seem like a lot of them are left around. Killing him would be absurdly dumb, at least jail him/house arrest/whatever and continue to get life saving use out of his services. He refuses or intentionally fucks up, then you can kill him. Personally I'd just threaten to dangle him by a rope on the other side of the fence and let the walkers eat him bite by bite if he fucked up.

The one thing about cowards is they are afraid. Considering his very unique skill set, use the fear to solve the problem while continuing to enjoy the services that only he can provide.

They would get branded if they are cattle to them.

Hmm, that would be an interesting twist...the Wolves are herding them & branding them as their own, maybe to attack strongholds like Alexandria. Some of the strays have been showing up on the doorsteps already. They're obviously viscous serial killers based on the attack at Noah's home, and like to flirt with danger by branding a "W" on the foreheads.

They would get branded if they are cattle to them.

But they accomplish the same mission with or without the big W on their heads. On the other hand, the big W makes the opposition (the guys they are using the cattle against) start to ask questions they wouldn't have otherwise asked.

I just don't see any potential upside and a ton of downside. Drop the same guys off without the W, get the exact same results. Drop them off with the W and get the exact same results plus the guys you're spying on might have an idea you are coming now, costing you the most significant advantage you have (had) in the upcoming battle.
