If Shane were still around, far more of the group would still be alive. Shane is the kind of leader you need in the zombie apocalypse. He never would have gone into crybaby farmer mode and stopped carrying a gun.

no, if people would stop being stupid they would be alive. how many times have people died because they were stupid and got bit because they weren't paying attention?

Is it bad that the worst I've felt for a character dying was Buttons and he only had what, 3 minutes of screen time?

RIP Buttons, we hardly knew ye.

Poor Buttons. He should've wrecked those zombies, too - cornering a scared/angry horse is a good way to die.

I found that scene kind of strange. I could understand them closing in, as the horse wasn't immediately spooked by Daryl, but once a bite was taking of it, I expected a much more violent reaction.

I thought she was President Taylor from 24.

Aha! That's who I was thinking!
I kept thinking, "I know I've seen this lady before. Where?" I looked all over IMDB and can't for the life of me think it was any of her small credits here and there, and I couldn't think of where it was that I thought I had seen her.

Without a perfect comparison, she reminds me both in presence and in voice of Cherry Jones as President Taylor.

At least Rick brought up the supports being on the wrong side of the wall, but I kinda wanted the architect to explain himself.

I didn't think so. I think she had to insure that he wouldn't tell anyone.

I dunno, I was thinking she had the point across about half way into her diatribe. She made it crystal clear, alright, but I think she could have eased it up a bit and still succeed.

Perhaps they made it so that she was afraid that if she didn't sufficiently drill it into him, that perhaps he would have taken it more like a joke? I don't know. He had a wide eyed, "oh shit she be crazy" look rather quick.

I guess. was totally surprised by that though.

they were calling her Scare-ol on Talking later on, lol.

Yeah, so was I. I thought I saw her grab chocolate or something from a fridge/freezer in there? Figured she'd use that as her excuse for going in there...did not expect what she said, at all!

yeah, she did and that was my thought exactly as well.

Nice filler episode.. 3/10 boring as F.

Eh, I actually liked it. After everything that has happened they needed a break. It was interesting to think about after all that time out there with barely any civilization to see them go to a 'party' trying to act like old times. I imagine it would be very surreal.

Besides, you know it won't last long.

How does a fat person manage to survive, or remain fat during the zombie apocalypse? She is also in charge of rationing the food too. I am already annoyed by how well groomed father Gabriel is, but this takes the cake.
