Do you guys think Dawn can be redeemed?

I think she has potential to be a series regular same thing with the doctor.

When Dawn first showed up I had a weird moment where after recognizing her, instead of thinking of the real life person, I thought of her character on Hello Ladies and said, "She finally got a solid part, good for her!"

... They really seemed to get the feeling of suspense this episode. Its like the show turned into a mistery for an episode. ...
Yes. And the sound track too followed that art direction.
... Finding out it was petty rape was kinda dissapointing to me. I was hoping they had doctors doing human experimentation for a cure in the other floors! Now that would have been an interesting twist!
So many things could have been done but would require an additional episode. Note: Clearly there is another Hospital setting episode coming and the doctors role can be expanded.

Yes! Most of them can be. And will be future zombie fodder.

Well we don't really know how she was taken, do we?

It is probably safe to assume that Daryl and Carol happened upon Noah. He likely explained the situation, as Daryl and Carol are good guys, and that is how this show works. So, Carol could have set herself up to be indentured to the hospital people while Daryl and Noah go to get back up. Carol can keep Beth safe, while being viewed as weak enough to attempt to control (lol, they done goofed with that assumption, if true) and buy Daryl time to bring Rick and Co. It also serves as potential weakspot in the hospital, as they will be fighting from the inside and the assault from the outside.

That makes sense, though I guess I am just a little messed up on the timing of everything. I could not get a proper handle on how much time had passed in the Beth world.

That's funny, cause my first thought was "Hey, Donna's not dead, she must've got in witness protection before the zombies took over" lol

Yeah, I though that they made a bit of a blunder by jumping around chronologically without a good explanation of when they are. However, I think it'll become far more clear next episode.

Presumably so. Though it looks as if they will be focusing more on the ginger and mullet crew.

I had a funny thought as I was watching the 'next time on', that when they actually get close to leaving Georgia there will be giant barricades that will not allow them to leave. We will learn the zombie breakout is fully contained within Georgia and they are just deciding whether to napalm the whole place, or something else.

I guess what I am getting at, is we really have no idea what is going on in the rest of the world though I guess we can assume there would have been some sort of radio contact at some point if places elsewhere were still functioning in a relatively normal way.

Except CDC man said no other CDC-like centers exist because they all ran out of power. So the world is screwed or CDC-man is a fucking liar.

Do you mean Noah Emmerich in season 1? See this is why it's good to have someone who has recently watched the early seasons. Completely forgot about that shit. 😀

Thanks brah.

Very handy for dopes like me who forget everything. I've actually considered going back to watch the early seasons again, but every time I do stupid Shane's ugly face pops in my head and I can't bear the thought of watching that guy lumber around with his terrible acting for 20+ episodes. Ugh.

Oh, Shane was the bad actor of the early seasons? I guess we all forgot about Lori, Andrea, that black lady in the CDC, I'd say Carol, but given her development I am fine with her being a terrible character, Carl, Carol's daughter, the farm boy, um, who else? TDog? Pretty much everyone in the cast except like Daryl, Rick, and Herschel were terrible. Shane and the other old guy were at least tolerable.

Those others were not great, but Shane so far and away the worst I almost stopped watching solely because of him.

Well, to be fair, I don't think most of the actors in the show really have had many gigs if any in the past. I've seen Andrew Lincoln (Rick) and Lauren Cohan (Maggie) in other things, but I can't recall anyone else.

Although, you've gotta give Shane his dues. I mean... who else can convey such emotion through a variety of head rubs!? 😉

Eh, I liked Shane. He was what everyone is happy Rick is now: willing to do whatever it takes to protect his family, including killing the old leader of said family.

I've liked him (Jon Bernthal) in everything else I've seen him in. I imagine he is great in Fury as well, but I haven't seen that.

Because of the time differential that the person Daryl has in the bushes is
Beth
? Beth was kidnapped way before the Terminus. nonono. Carol was last seen with Daryl after the "Kidnapping" car with the cross drove by. Wait! Carol at the hospital is before the Terminus rescue, before Carol got back together with the gang. Carol escapes to get help for Beth but finds she has to rescue Ricks group. The car that drove by Daryl and Carol was
Beth's get away from the hospital car!
😱
