That idiot guy with the mullet was just spray and praying everything in sight and managed to get the gas tank on the truck? At one point it looked like he was getting swarmed in and didn't give a shit about his awareness.

I laughed when he said "classified".. To who? Does this guy not know that there was pretty much an apocalypse? I hope he gets bitten right away, he looks annoying and useless. Maybe the dumbass will talk then.

I think the biker guys must be pretty rough since that one guy fought the other guy for the bed and did the sleeper hold on him, so the others not hearing Rick fighting the guy in the bathroom isn't a stretch. I thought Rick was opening the door to check if anyone was in the hallway, but I do think he was laying a walker trap by letting the guy he killed in the bathroom get out of there.

The scene under the bed was pretty good I think, and keep in mind, Rick still is in pretty bad shape, so he wasn't anxious to take any of the guys on.

The mullet Eugene guy seems like an idiot, but who knows what that will bring. Him shooting the truck was stupid, but don't those have fuel tanks on both sides? He shot the one side, but I figured the other side could keep them going for a while.

Glenn was being Glenn, but I can't see him doing anything else other than refusing to go find Maggie.

It's very difficult to believe that anyone could take his claims seriously. I guess in an apocalypse you want to cling onto hope and he's providing it, but just seeing/hearing him makes me want to laugh. Oh, he knows what caused it? Ok, let's go to DC!!! Have not read the comics, but gee I wonder how that works out...

Im guessing any large city (look at ATL) is one large zombie fuckfest.

Would avoid any city at all costs and stick to rural areas.

Your best bet would be to make it to a coastal region (Pacific would be more ideal because the Atlantic gets more hurricanes) and use a sail boat. You are safe when sleeping out in the ocean and can (with very few resources) obtain food and move between ports to scavenge for supplies as needed. The only problem I could see is getting clean water, but a simple evaporation system to "remove" the salt shouldn't be hard to build.

So, a guy (with a mullet, I might add) claims to be a doctor and knows what started the outbreak, but refuses to tell anyone except someone he was communicating with (that nobody, it seems, actually heard) because it is "classified". If anything, I'd not travel with that guy on principle alone, not to mention the fact he is worthless.

Yeah, that guy would either start talking or I'd start torturing him. Classified my ass, there is no more classification authority.

Rick is a shitty leader and was just plain stupid on last night's episode. He had multiple opportunities to get up and steal a gun while the guy was sleeping and just laid there being his usual indecisive, retarded self.

Glen is another worthless buffoon. I really wish they'd kill those two off.

I'm with you. The both of them are fucking worthless.

Exactly. "Well, my M-16 just declassified it. I have the access level (my M-16) and the need to know, so you better start talking or someone is carrying your corpse to Washington." And the "I'm a doctor" would be countered with "You have a mullet, stfu, you didn't make it past high school."

He's not as stupid as he appears. He shot the tank intentionally because he wanted to follow Glen and Tara. "Trust me. I'm smarter than you."

I'd see how smart he was when I was waterboarding him until he told me what caused the zombie apocalypse. Leaving that knowledge in the hands (mind) of one person in such a dangerous environment is monumentally stupid.

I agree with that, but he may yet have a reason for keeping it to himself. And yes, I would be forcing the info out of him myself.

That would be a good theory, but he did look really clueless when it came to guns, and that's even with no one watching him. If the camera hadn't been following his character, I'd say you were right.

I don't think Glen buys that Eugene knows shit about the cause, nor does he care enough to deal with him.

I think Glenn realizes it doesn't matter what started it. None of them have the means to stop it, and at that point, it doesn't matter. Also, he has a mullet; he can't be that smart.

True, that for Glen personally, it doesn't matter to him. But for society as a whole, if this dude really understands what's going on, and can get the information to an organized social structure, then that would be the first step to a cure (since everyone is infected.)

That's presuming Eugene truly knows what's going on. I think there's A LOT to this character that us viewers have no idea about.

If Eugene is so smart, he'd understand that they are a situation where he is very likely to die. And, since he is being some kind of military wannabe, that information dies with him.

The preview for next week. If Daryl dies the show is over for me.

Daryl is easily the most popular character; and since George R R Martin isn't the head writer, the best character won't die.

Don't know why he gave Carl his Python when he already has a Beretta.

And not leaving himself anything. Retard.

Well just call that "plot device".

Indecisive? Not in the least... He wanted to escape, and was waiting for the right time. He wanted to get out before Carl and Michonne returned, so they didn't walk into a trap. He didn't know how many people were in the house, or outside the house, or on their way, or anything. Grabbing one gun could have helped him dispatch a person or two, but if there were more than a couple armed combatants, it would not have gone well for him at all. He also didn't know how much ammo that gun would have.

So no... He wasn't having any trouble deciding on anything.

Not only that, but he was acknowledging his current physical state as well.

Have you read World War Z? This idea is a lot less "ideal" after you read the book.

I think Carl was out of ammo, so it's Rick's safety in a house vs. Carl's while he is out gathering.

Yeah I just don't see that happening, I think Rick and Daryl are the only two untouchable characters on the show.

I dunno. It looks like they have been cultivating Carl to eventually replace Rick. It's clearly a long way off and probably hasn't even happened in the comics yet, but I do think that's the direction they are taking this. It's why Rick has been struggling to make sure Carl retains his humanity and freaks out every time Carl does something violent preemptively, no matter how logical.
