Gonna do what I did last year - record 3-5 episodes before watching any of them. This show is so much better when you can binge watch. There's so many slow episodes that it's really a waste to wait around a week to watch them. Best to just buzz through them at once.

Damn, that's a good idea to record or wait and watch them in binge batches, lol. I'm too excited for it though, I'm watching now. C'MON RICK, FUCK THOSE SCUMBAGS UP!

Ive notices a lot of shows are showing stuff from later episodes in commercials and trailers. It pisses me off because it makes me think i missed something when the episode airs and they dont show that part.

Awesome season opener.

The first guy who got his throat slashed was the guy rick met with his girlfriend. They set off to get some supplies and they find the girl dead and the guy nowhere to be found. I thought I recognized him then they mentioned him on talking dead.

Loved the episode and the seamless integration of VFX and makeup. Amazing work with the blood and the walker eating the nose was GRUUUUUSOME.
 
Yeah I didn't recognize the guy until they talked about him on Talking Dead. I still wasn't clear until I was talking about it with a co-worker this morning and he mentioned that the girl was going to get apples or fruit or something, and I do remember that.

I agree on them not dragging out a Terminus story throughout the season, but some more backstory would've been good, like a two-episode thing. But from what I've read, they're going to be more backstory and flashbacks throughout the season so hopefully that'll explain more.

Conan was pretty funny on Talking Dead. I agree with him on liking badass/hardcore Rick, haha.
