Walked around with it for a bit at Target, tempted as hell, but I really want it on BluRay, so I passed.

I know as soon as I buy the DVD for $10, Amazon or somewhere online will have the BD for $15, then I'll be pissed at myself cause I'll have to buy it again, lol.

Could not get into it, but I could see how it could be appealing for some audiences. Watched the first 3 or so episodes. Good price for the series.

I guess I expected something different after seeing all the previews. I was expecting George Romero and got a soap opera instead. Come on, it's the end of civilization and everyone runs around yelling at each other instead of trying to come together as a team??!! Racial intolerance??!! Love triangles??!! Bitchy women with chips on their shoulders??!! An idiot who prefers beating women instead of the dead??!!

I can go on and on. Hopefully the writers to come up with better materials for Season 2.

If you read the comic you knew what you where getting. Lot's of human story. I liked it but one episode.
Best part it was filmed around my area. First scene of the 1st episode with the gas station is a place just a few miles from my house.

Its a great show and in moments of survival there is a need to come together, but a lot of this show isn't just about surviving a zombie onslaught its about surviving in surroundings and around people that you might never have been around in the first place.

I give you that but was it necessary to have Sarah almost immediately shack up with Shane? She felt it was important enough to pack up the family pictures before vacating the house. Obviously the memories of her and Rick where important to her. That is a huge inconsistency in the story.

And then, to have Rick reunited with Sarah after only a few days of searching. Completely unbelievable. It was done purely to exploit the love triangle story.

I'd rather just watch "Lost" instead of the "next" Lost. 🙄
