I'm a big fan of the ASUS black PCB and fanless design. Stable and feature rich.

But for overclocking, DFI is still king and with the improvments (for example 8 pin power) its only going to get better.

For the 'king' of overclocking you have to look at the corresponding 'king' of CPUs. That's right, were talking high multiplier results determine what I'm going to buy and consider king. In regards to power improvements 8-pin don't hold a candle to 8-phase


 
I like that the new DFI board (and the new Asus too, apparently) has 3 PCI slots instead of two, but that's way more than I'm willing to pay for a motherboard (costs more than 2/3 as much as the Opteron 165 I plan on buying). Also certainly doesn't make my choice of motherboard any easier since I've got an AGP card still and I don't know what I want to do with it.
