the W hotel

since when did the "W" hotel became one of the upper-middle tier hotel chains like the Hilton, Hyatt, Westin, or Wyndam?

I've never heard of them until recently.

Yeah, saw one in New York, rather expensive. Just like the one in New Orleans.

Been around for years. Modern, urbane, and chic luxury hotels. Very comfortable. I've stayed in a few.

W is ths same company as Westin, they've been around for awhile.

They rock. Stayed at one in San Fran. Great stay.

 

I've seen 'em around, but nothing compares to the Swissotel I stayed at in Chicago.

They have been around for at least 6 years or so. I used to travel alot before, stayed a bunch of W's. Chicago, NYC, LA.

They are alright, no big deal hotel.
