I actually kinda like that idea. That way I dont have to worry about ranking up and unlocking. Just join a server with the guns unlocked. MW2 with P2P wasnt too bad, but not ideal. BF3 will still be my main game, but I find playing MW from time to time sharpens my gun skills when I return to BF.

Then give us the choice rather than forcing us to do p2p for rank. It was bad. Blops was much better in that aspect.

Kind of a lame commercial. What does its content have to do with MW3?

Besides, no one really treats a noob like that. You swear a lot more at them.

It seemed like one of the underlying messages was, "It's OK if you're new to the game, you'll get better," which is probably a good message to send.

Of course, I couldn't help but feel contempt for the ad since it's advertising a consolized FPS.

I thought it was funny how even though they were supposed to be a noob vs vet. They played essentially exactly the same, one aimed a bit more while running out in to the open like an idiot.

I think that's a good point. I don't play CoD at all, so I'm not criticizing the game. Just thinking about the commercial.

I heard from a passing conversation that there might be a game where pc players and console players will converge, but there's some sort of handicap? Any truth to that rumor?

It warms the heart to see that the cast from Stargate Universe found meaningful and ambitious projects to work in.

Probably not but that'd be awesome. I'll buy it just cause I'll destroy all those people I know who play on xbox and laugh.
