I'd consider it for the hot spot, but the no voice/data is a major downer and if their tethering adds a cap, no thanks.

I find it surprising they didn't include a GSM radio. No global roaming is a show-stopper for me due to the nature of my work. I'm sticking with AT&T.

Well, that's just stupid if they do that. I'm not switching to Verizon, at least not for another year... but if they don't offer unlimited, most of the people so ready to jump ship are going to stay planted on AT&T.

Its quiet possible they are raising rates.

Verizon is making a quiet a few changes. Such as returns becoming 14 days instead of 30.

New Every two and annual upgrade is ending 1/16. If you have it you will keep it but after that its gone.

WiFi Hotspot will be in the next iOS update, enabled if you have tethering.

IMO, I don't see Apple making another CDMA iPhone after this one. The phone coming out next summer will probably be HSPA+LTE, so GSM carriers can sell it right away and Verizon can keep selling the iPhone 4 CDMA until their entire network is LTE.

I'll consider it when they get the features they have on AT&T. I also would like to see them get "4G" capabilities on the next iphones anyhow.

wifi hotspot? i've had that for ages for free. what happens when you have to pickup a call? do your 5 users just go on hold?

I wonder how this will split the JB wars. Two basebands (or more) . hmm..
