The articles are laid out in a grid instead of a single column. The stuff in-between the news and features makes the layout busier than I would like but it's not that hard to figure out.

Meh. I thought this was about some new phone I'd never heard of -that Verizon won't be getting anyway- called The Verge.

It looks like everybody demanded their stuff be on the front page, so the designer accommodated with an unedited mish-mosh. The individual elements are very nicely done, it's just that there are too many of them... everywhere.

I was interested in was the EOS-1D X hands-on.

So you have this amazing freakin' camera in your hands and presumably someone there showing it to ask a myriad of questions of, all you come up with is: "It's huge! It's like, really fast and stuff! It will cost a lot! Woweee!"

So the content isn't actually much better than the layout either I guess.
